Saudi Arabia Pavilion

On my seventh day at Expo 2010, after having been to pretty much every self-built pavilion, I decided to finally tackle the Saudi Arabia pavilion here. No, the pavilion is nowhere near the location in the picture, but the picture does show where the line starts. I arrived before 9:30am shortly after the Expo opened for the day and the estimated queueing time was already six hours. The picture doesn’t actually do justice to the length of the line since it is far longer than what can fit in the frame. The entire roadway below the overpass shown here is stuffed with people and feeds into main portion of the queue, which then zigzags around the pavilion itself.
